About the name....

When I retired after 18 years as a director at a very busy Non-Profit company, my husband jokingly told friends my new mantra was “retired…let’s do lunch”.
Although, my first goal was to get years of photos in scrapbooks, I loved paper crafting, and spent most of my new time making cards, invitations, gift tags and of course going to lunch with friends.
I love the holiday season and all the old fashioned traditions that go with that time of year including making Gingerbread Houses. They are SO much fun to make but, it seemed like a lot of work just to toss at the end of the season. There had to be a way to create a house that would last from season to season. That was the birth of the chipboard “Gingerbread” House. Encouraged by family & friends.
"Retired...Let's do Lunch" was born.
